Navy Port in Charleston, SC
This Steel Fabrication and Installation project is to help fabricate a system in a ship offloading facility for a Navy Yard Port. The project began in 2024 and will be completed in 2025. Our crew consisted of 8 working in our fabrication shop and 6 on site for install. With more than a dozen sets of hands involved we have had a big role in the progress of this project.

Steel Fabrication, Installation and More!
The Navy Yard Port Steel Fabrication and Equipment Installation project began in September of 2024 with a crew of more than a dozen of the Limehouse and Sons team.
The facility unloads cargo from ships, stores it, then re-loads it for delivery.
The Limehouse crew has been involved in many different aspects of this project. From the offsite Steel Fabrication work done in our amazing 22,000 square foot workshop (learn more about our workshop HERE) to the installation of bucket elevators and silos on site, by using our cranes (See the full fleet HERE) we have had a hand in a LOT of what is happening in this Navy Yard!
Did we mention that the Limehouse team fabricated the steel support structure for the silos? We also installed the silos as well as all other equipment necessary so that the products could be offloaded from the ships. This included a bucket elevator and all the piping needed for the operation of this process.
